Gone are the days where I had all the time in the world to blog and post pics..Now its so hard to even find time for a decent post.
I hope to be more consistent from here on.
How can one update a lack of update for a whole year and 7 months.. Oh well here is the most important detail!!
I AM AT HILLSONG INTERNATIONAL LEADERSHIP COLLEGE in Sydney!! for my first year of training and ministry :)
Finally after 8 years of waiting God opened the door for me to answer my call..I guess it is no accident the timing, divine appointment and amazing provision, and here i am completely abandoned to the call of surrender and to have Him do anything and everything in me and through me.
First 5 months of being so far away from home was definitely an emotional roller-coaster for me. While it is not all flowers and rainbows, it has also been one of the most life changing 5 months for me of God opening my eyes to see the me inside. Also allowing Him to stretch and expand the capacities within and remove all that is not from Him. Strengthening my security so that it is only in Him and not my talent or ability to lead.
Truly, truly, I say to you, unless a grain of wheat falls into the earth and dies, it remains alone; but if it dies, it bears much fruit. (John 12:24)
Until and unless we are willing to completely die to ourselves God cannot do a work within us. Trust me, there are many more things God is working on even now :) sometimes it is painful and tears are my only words but then it is also refreshing and it causes my spirit to be more alive to Him. I am being prepared to protect my generation from Hell! I sure hope you are doing the same thing too cos it ain't about where you are or what you do, everyone of us have a distinct call and destiny that God has prepared for us. It takes us to step in by faith before He unfolds it.
On a lighter note I just got back from my beloved Malaysia :) couldn't believe how 2 weeks just flew by. It was a very refreshing time of imparting, and fellowship, laughter and tears, singing and joking around with my amazing family and also my extended Youth Outbreak family.. I treasure and love every moment spent away.
I am back in Sydney and ready for a new semester of growing, expanding and stepping out of my comfort zone. I really need His strength more than anything. So if you're reading this, please just say a prayer for me as I continue on this journey of the destiny that He has in store for me.
Just have to say for 8 years the dream has been to come to Hillsong College but when i got here i discovered that the dream wasn't Hillsong College at all but it was the world. It was a desire to see my world transformed and saved for His Glory and purpose in whatever insignificant way I can be involved. To preach, to sing, to love, to care for, whatever it is He would have me do. I will surrender and answer. My only desire "Lord Use me, here I am"
Till my next post.. I hope this encourages you to never give up on your dream and your call cos God never gave up or forgot about it. In fact He is about to bring it to pass sooner than you think.
Here's one pic to end my post :) more pics to come..
